Women and Wallace

Women and Wallace, directed by Kat Swank and written by Jonathan Sherman, follows Wallace Kirkman (beginning at the age of 6) after he finds his mother dead on the kitchen floor. Her suicide rocks him to his core, and we see how Wallace grows and how his relationships with the women around him are affected. From childhood to young adulthood, Wallace makes mistakes, discovers what love is, and how his mother’s suicide continues to inform his actions. We see him mature from a scared young boy, to an angsty angry teen, to a young man who is beginning to gain some clarity about his place in the world and how to move past his trauma.
