‘Women and Wallace’ dark, funny, moving By Tina Arth

Arth discusses HART’s production of Women and Wallace that was put up in 2016. She praises the balance that the production posessed of comedy and tragedy and notes that nothing could have prepared her for the events that transpired. She notes that this is not a typical coming of age story because of its intense beginning, but still possesses the charm of one. Something that was different from this production that others that have been put on in the past was that there was not one actor playing each role. Every phase of Wallace’s life is acted by an appropriately aged actor and every female part was casted age appropriately as well.
