August 22: Auditions
August 23: Callbacks and post the Cast List
August 26: Read through show. Walking around the room focusing on centers, tempo, posture, character jewelry, etc. Try different techniques such as Meisner to get them into the frame of reacting to each other.
August 27- August 30: Character work and light blocking with the characters. They will be doing their own character bios and we will discuss their relationship to Wallace. We will then get the actors on their feet and do some light blocking.
September 2: Further character work and ensemble work. Again I will have them walk around the room and make new discoveries using centers, tempo, posture, character jewelry, etc. A full cast intimacy and fight choreography workshop to get them familiar with the vocabulary for the work we will do.
September 3-September 8: Intimacy work for Wallace, Lili, Nina, Victoria, Sarah and Wendy and Fight choreography for Wallace, Grandmother, Victoria and Psychiatrist. Finalize blocking for all scenes. Focus on developing beats and working in the new things actors found in the ensemble work. Encourage the actors to make big choices and play with each other.
September 9: Stumble Through and Transition Run Through
September 10- September 13: Run through scenes and polish anything that needs to be polished.
September 16- September 20: Tech Week
September 21 show at 7:30 and September 22 show at 2:00 and 7:30
